Endpoint Reference

Order Integration

Import an order into Flynet.

POST /v1/orders

The API should validate the incoming payload, match product SKUs, prevent duplicate order creation, and return the resulting Flynet order reference after the order has been saved successfully.

Authentication & Security

API Key Authentication

Protected endpoints can authenticate callers using the X-API-Key HTTP request header.

X-API-Key: YOUR_API_KEY

Use separately configured test and production keys. Never expose a real API key in browser code or public documentation.

Transport & Data Format

Use HTTPS for all non-local environments. Exchange request and response bodies in JSON encoded as UTF-8.

Validate incoming data and return appropriate HTTP status codes with readable error messages.

Getting Started

  1. Open the API documentation and identify the required operation.
  2. Review the expected request parameters and response format.
  3. Configure the test API key in the appropriate request header.
  4. Test against the local or staging environment before production.
  5. Verify validation errors, duplicate requests, and server failures.
